1. How does Live Wedding Painting work?
A live wedding painting is a beautiful way to capture a special moment from your wedding day and turn it into a keepsake you’ll have forever. Before your wedding: About 3–4 weeks before the big day, we’ll have a quick call to go over your timeline, the moment you’d like painted, and any special details. On your wedding day: I’ll arrive 1–2 hours early to set up and prepare a completely blank canvas at your venue. When your chosen moment happens, I’ll take a quick photo to use as my reference. I may also take a few additional photos of the venue or details we’ve discussed. From there, your painting is created from scratch, right there at your wedding. I DO NOT use AI or printed photos as part of the painting process every brushstroke is painted by hand, live, while your guests watch it come to life. After the wedding: You’ll get a sneak peek of the painting before I take it back to my studio to add the final details. Your finished painting will be ready to ship within 12 weeks after your wedding. Usually it takes lesser however during the peak wedding season, it may get stretched to the full 12 week timeline.
2. What is the booking process and deposit structure?
Please send your inquiry through the 'Book the date' form. Once I receive it, based on availability, I’ll email you all the details and answer questions if any. Towards the end of the form, you’ll also see an option to book a free introduction call, if you'd like. Please feel free to schedule a call and I’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have. Once you are ready to confirm the booking, I will send a simple contract outlining all the details. I request a 50% deposit to block the date and the rest is due when the painting is about to be shipped.
3. Do you travel?
Yes! I take wedding painting bookings across Canada as well as internationally. Please share your wedding venue in the form so I can provide the details. Travel costs vary depending on the location, but I’m always happy to come to you to paint your love story.
4. What do you need at the venue?
I only need a small space with access to a power outlet and a chair to set up my easel. If your wedding is outdoors, it’s best to have a spot in a covered area so the painting stays protected
