Guest count somewhere in between? Every wedding is special in it own way and I would be happy to customize the package based on your guest count, event timeline and desired number of portraits.
FAQs
I have listed some of the most commonly received questions below. If there is anything else I can help with, feel free to schedule an introduction call or send your inquiry.
1. How does Live Guest Illustration work?
Live guest illustrations are a beautiful and personalized wedding favour for your loved ones, something they can take home and remember your special day by. I’ll arrive 1–1.5 hours before cocktail hour to set up my illustration station and get everything ready before your guests arrive.. As your guests arrive for cocktail hour, I’ll take a quick photo of each guest to use as a reference for their live guest portrait. They don’t need to wait in a line or sit for a portrait. They can simply enjoy the celebration, while I work on their watercolour portraits throughout the evening. Guests are always welcome to stop by, watch their live wedding illustrations come to life, and see the portraits being created for other guests. Towards the end of the evening, each guest will receive their personalized wedding favour, beautifully packaged and ready to take home. It’s a fun experience for your guests and a meaningful keepsake they can treasure long after your wedding day.
2. What is the booking process and deposit structure?
Please send your inquiry through the 'Book the date' form. Once I receive it, based on availability, I’ll email you all the details and answer questions if any. Towards the end of the form, you’ll also see an option to book a free introduction call, if you'd like. Please feel free to schedule a call and I’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have. Once you are ready to confirm the booking, I will send a simple contract outlining all the details. I request a 50% deposit to block the date and the rest is due on or before the wedding.
3. Do you travel?
Yes! I take wedding painting bookings across Canada as well as internationally. Please share your wedding venue in the form so I can provide the details. Travel costs vary depending on the location, but I’m always happy to come to you to paint your love story.
4. What do you need at the venue?
I only need a small table (preferably 4' x 6' however I am open to other options based on availability) with access to a power outlet (if possible) and a chair . If your wedding is outdoors, it’s best to have a spot in a covered area :)
